Network records describe coordinated deployments. Resource records describe maps, directories and global platforms. Contact links belong to a network; they are not networks themselves.
Community communication networks
Discover named, community-built communication networks, the places they serve and the public pages through which people can learn, coordinate or contribute. MeshAtlas separates networks from individual nodes, maps and social links so the directory describes real communities and deployments rather than a pile of URLs.

What counts as a network?
A MeshAtlas network record is a named, geographically identifiable deployment or coordinated community with a public source confirming its existence. A nationwide community, a regional mesh and a city LoRaWAN community can qualify. A single visible node, an equipment vendor, a generic map or an old social-media link without identifiable geographic activity does not automatically qualify.

Networks are not necessarily interoperable
Two communities using 868 MHz may still use different protocols, frequencies, modem parameters, channels or keys. Frequency is therefore recorded as structured technical information, not used as proof that networks can communicate.
Corrections and additions
Community networks change quickly. A listed chat group does not by itself prove continuous radio coverage, and a public map may show only nodes that publish data. If you operate a network that is missing, or a record is inactive or inaccurate, send MeshAtlas its name, area, technology, public links and the date on which the information was checked.
